Indian smartphone manufacturing company, Gionee, first launched Gionee Pioneer P5 in March 2016 here in Nigeria.
The company further announced it in its home country.
In terms of OS, the phone is an improvement to Gionee P5 which runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. P5 mini runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
It supports dual SIM; each on standby. This means you can enjoy phone calls and internet browsing with one SIM, and still receive phone calls on the other at the same time – without switching.

Unlike the regular Android devices, Gionee P5 features an FWVGA IPS Oncell display of 4.5 inches.
