This design adds a dual antenna on the back that reflects a beautiful line with the fingerprint scanner sitting on the center while the iPhone X look-alike dual camera is on the top left side.
It measures 8mm in thickness and weighs 221g overall. The Xiaomi Mi is available in Gold, Blue, and Black colors.
Display
Mi Max 3 comes with a big screen that offers more specs for phone activities than a mini tablet. The screen has the latest 18:9 body aspect ratio.
You’ll also notice that the narrow bezels have been reduced with the top minimal bezel housing the selfie camera and other regular features.
It has a 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which boasts of 1080 x 2160 pixels in resolution and 350 pixels per inch density.
The screen reaches up to 79.8% screen-to-body ratio with the Corning Gorilla Glass on top for protection.
Another feature of the screen is the ability to wake up when you pick it up. This means it comes with a built-in mechanism that recognizes human touch.

As for the camera, you’ll find 12MP + 5MP combination on the back to capture quality photos. The primary camera of 12MP features f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.55″ sensor size, and 1.4µm pixel size. While the other camera of 5MP feature PDAF and helps in Bokeh mode.
Other features include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama, LED, and dual-tone flash in-between the cameras.
The smartphone is also endowed with an 8MP selfie camera that has f/2.0 aperture and AI Face ID for security.

Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset from Qualcomm; it’s built on a 14nm process technology for power efficiency.
The octa-core processor on the inside has 8 cores with a clocking speed of 1.8GHz, while the Adreno 509 GPU takes care of graphics.
On the storage, you get two memory variants. The lower model has 64GB + 4GB of RAM while the other has 128GB + 6GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with MIUI 9.5 skin on top.

On the inside, there is a massive 5500mAh battery booting the phone along with the fast charging technology to enhance the charging speed.
