Beautiful Design
The phone has rounded edges and a curved back glass. It isn’t tapered but it feels thick and sturdy.
Huawei designed the phone with a stereo speaker setup; one speaker is bottom firing and the other doubles as the earpiece. These speakers produce a clear and decently loud sound.
It’s shocking to see that Huawei dropped the 3.5mm headphone jack. Now, you’re left with the option of plugging in a headphone to the USB type-C port or going wireless.
Moving to the front, you’ll find an always-on front-mounted fingerprint scanner that’s just below the screen. It’s fast and responsive to touch.
The good news is that you have an option to use the face unlock if you don’t want to use the fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone runs on a Keren 970 chipset, which delivers an optimum performance in collaboration with the 6GB RAM packed with it.
This chipset’s performance is just about 30% below that of Snapdragon 845 on benchmarks. It’s a good performer that can handle any heavy task effectively.
It is preinstalled with Huawei’s EMUI 8 over Android 8.1 Oreo.
