iPhone is a smartphone that runs on an operating system known as iOS, designed and marketed by Apple Inc.
Over the years, Apple has continued to make improvements on the smartphone, thus, becoming one of the best mobile phones in present times.
There are several features you should know about this smartphone. I have gone extra miles to compile all you need to know about iPhone.
The Apple’s iOS iPhone has one of the most advanced smartphone cameras. It is a wonderful tool for taking selfies. No wonder ladies yearn for it!
All models from iPhone 4 come with two cameras. A rear camera that is accompanied by an LED flash and a front camera that often has a lower pixel.
An easy-to-use smartphone for all ages is iPhone. The icons depict their functions, making the phone user-friendly.
It is designed to allow the choice of larger text and icons. iPhone 3G has a screen reader, and white on black mode to aid use by the vision impaired.
The virtual keyboard features text prediction and spelling correction capabilities. On the landscape mode, the keys are larger and far apart.
A magnifier appears when a part of the text is touched briefly. This enables easy repositioning of the cursor when typing.

In my earlier post, I wrote about the importance of customer reviews in determining real battery life.
The early generation iPhone faced a lot of criticism in regards to battery life, with claims that the battery does not last long enough as specified by the company.
They are in-built and are not user replaceable. Once damaged, they have to be taken to any Apple store for a replacement. Although replacement is free if the damage is within the warranty time frame.
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have an average battery life of 8 hours 15 minutes and 9 hours 11 minutes respectively. This is small compared to Tecno L7’s 11 hours 30 minutes talk time.
iPhone operating system only runs on software approved by Apple. This helps to protect the phone against virus and other malicious attacks.
This restriction can, however, be bypassed by “jailbreaking” the phone. This means removing the restrictions imposed by the operation system. Doing this enables the use of software compatible with the phone, but also, makes it prone to virus attack.
Apple once introduced Touch ID fingerprint sensor as a security system. A technology feat in the smartphone world. However, this security system was bypassed in 2013 by some group of hackers.
iCloud is an important feature on the iPhone that sync’s contents such as documents, photos, and music between the phone and other Apple products.
iPhone users with Mac computers, iPad or iPod will appreciate this feature. It enables pictures taken on the phone to be automatically synced to the computer in case you need to edit them.
SIM Card and Storage Size
An interesting feature of iPhone is the storage capacity. Different models have different internal storage sizes.
iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants. iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s plus are available in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants. Large storage and RAM of 2GB makes me love iPhone 6S and 6S plus more.
iPhone 4 uses a micro-SIM and iPhone 5, a nano SIM card. Basically, iPhone is sold with a SIM lock in some countries to prevent the phone from being used on another mobile network.
