Among many alternatives you may find, Nokia 8 Sirocco is a device you’ll find most excellent.
Released in April 2018, the device came as a good news to smartphone enthusiasts worldwide and boasts as the most expensive flagship smartphone HMD Global had produced so far.
According to the Finnish company, Nokia 8 Sirocco is its ultimate statement of flagship design that comes with latest screen and camera technology. This can be explained by the premium devices released by the company prior to the Nokia 8 Sirocco.
With this latest release, we can be sure that Nokia is serious about competing with the likes of Samsung and Apple.
If you’re good at guessing and are conversant with the recent trends in the mobile phone market, you’ll agree with me that the price of the Nokia 8 Sirocco compared with other high-end devices is quite high.
Maybe Nokia is going the way of Apple – putting ridiculous prices on their products to increase values.
To calm your curiosity, every one of your questions will be answered and you’ll be able to come to a reasonable conclusion whether the latest Nokia 8 Sirocco is worth your time and money.

Design and Display
The Sirocco design shows Nokia’s deviation from the usual design language with which its phones are known.
It sports a totally appealing appearance that includes virtually all glass body and modern look.
Similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8, it has polished finish and curved edges tapering from 7.5mm to 2mm.
This device has its power and volume buttons at the right and gives a comfortable feel when held in the palm; this is characteristic of premium phones.
With a dimension of 140.93 x 72.97 x 7.5 mm, the 5.5inch display (2560×1440 pixels), which is LG’s P-OLED, is perfect with bezels slimmer than the previous Nokia 8.
Nokia 8 Sirocco braves the moment of water and dust invasion perfectly courtesy of the good IP67.

The camera is a superb one produced by Zeiss Optics.
There are both primary and secondary cameras which are 13 megapixels and 5 megapixels respectively.
The primary camera has a 12 MP main sensor which is responsible for the Bokeh effect. The Live Bokeh effect makes the adjustment of pictures background blur possible even before snapping. There’s also the Pro Mode on dragging up the shutter key.
Overall, the Sirocco camera produces detailed and crystal clear pictures that are typical of flagships.

The premium color representation of the icons is pleasing and a feature I believe you would like.
The release of the Sirocco is a nice one from HMD Global. So far, it’s the best Android phone it has released since its comeback into the android phone market. With this device, I’m sure the brand is living up to competition.
Sirocco’s camera and design are faultless. I hope to see more of these in subsequent releases of the company.
However, I consider the powerful Snapdragon 835 present in the Sirocco as old. Nokia would be able to justify the price of this phone if it provided a more recent processor.
Finally, I believe the Nokia 8 Sirocco is a device you should consider. It has amazing features that are expected of a flagship and thus a good competitor with other high-end devices.
