Tecno Spark K7 – The Budget Phone with a Flagship Design

Tecno Spark K7 is the first member of the Tecno Spark family. It was released a couple months before the second generation Tecno Spark, Spark Plus K9.

It’s a low-end phone that gives you a taste of flagship experience. The phone has a sleek and smooth body that makes it look like a flagship device.

You can use the fingerprint sensor located at the back to capture images and access your phone quickly.

Flagship Resemblance

Spark k7 looks stylish with antenna bands visible at the back. The speakers are placed behind at the right lower corner.

The plastic back cover is removable; you can’t tell that the phone is completely plastic by merely looking at it. It has a lot of resemblance to flagship phones.

It doesn’t come with the new trend that requires a SIM tool remover to insert the SIM. For this device, the SIM and SD card slots are situated at the back and can be easily accessed by removing the back cover. The power and volume buttons are aligned on the right side of this slim phone.

Advanced Algorithm Display

Spark K7 has a large 5-inch display that has been boosted by 12.5% to reach the brightness of 450 nits. This was achieved by integrating advanced algorithm. What this means is that the phone will offer you a better readability even in direct sunlight.

Cameras with Wide Angle

The front and back cameras both have an LED flash each. This makes sense because you’ll get bright images even in low light environments. The images produced by the cameras are decent for its price range.

You still get to see visible grains on the images even though Tecno-mobile claims that the phone comes with a blue glass that filters out 50% more noises than a regular glass.

The front camera is designed for good selfies, wefies, and groupies. Up to 3 people can fit into the 83-degrees wide-angle. And even more people into the 120-degrees panoramic view.

Memory

This device isn’t recommended for you if you’re a gaming freak. The (mostly available) RAM is just 1GB and may not offer you the experience you desire.

This doesn’t mean that you can’t play any game on it conveniently. No!

Games like Temple Run and Asphalt 8 work well without any lag. The memory may need to refresh if you open too many apps and opt-out from one app to another.

There is enough internal memory of 16GB to save all your past and present images, videos, and documents. The more interesting part is that it has a dedicated card slot to help you expand the memory in case you need more space.

Battery Life

Tecno Spark K7 comes with a non-removable 3000mAh battery. This will serve you for a whole day on a full charge if you’re a light user. If you’re a camera freak or use the internet for several hours, you may have to charge it once or twice a day for optimal enjoyment.
