Bank Transfer Codes in Nigeria
There was a time when we had no choice than to visit the bank if we wanted to send money to anyone via the bank.
Nowadays, with the different options available, we can even transfer millions of Naira from the comfort of our bedrooms.
Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) code is one of the available options to seamlessly transfer funds from one bank account to another. This option comes with a lot of flexibility and benefits.
All commercial banks in Nigeria offer this service. But the transfer code differs from one bank to another. Also, the charge rate isn’t the same for all banks.
Generally, most banks offer free of charge transfer of fund when you transfer to another account within the bank. But they charge a token for transfer to accounts outside the bank.
