Full Review of Nokia 7 Plus – The Beautiful Phone with Copper Linings
Nokia 7 Plus slides in between Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco. The three smartphones all run on Android OS.
The Nokia 7 Plus is nothing like the original Nokia 7. In fact, Nokia 7 has nothing on Nokia 7 Plus and it’s virtually impossible to make this review a comparison between both versions.
Design and Build Quality
HMD took a huge step in the design of the Nokia 7 Plus. The smartphone features a gorgeous design that’s made to last long.
It is built entirely from aluminum and as such, has a hefty feel and density that gives it a reassuring weight.
The cover may feel plastic but it isn’t. It’s coated with a thick ceramic coating, which gives it the gorgeous black matte color that deserves a good appreciate.
Another impressive design I love so much is the side design. The Corning Gorilla glass 3D screen protector is so well embedded that it neither leaves no edges for dirt to hide in nor feel scratchy when you try to wipe your device.

YES, I WANT ACCESS TO THE EXCLUSIVE TRAINING FOR FREEStill, on the design, Nokia 7 Plus offers a gorgeous copper lining on the side, which really looks lovely.
Moving to the front of the device, you’ll find the perfect 6-inch display sporting the much loved 18:9 aspect ratio with a Corning Gorilla glass 3D embedded perfectly on the screen.
Overall, I have no problems with the design or any query about its build quality. It comes as pretty and premium as a phone of its range can get without going overboard with the price.
Full HD Display
The device has a full HD resolution of 2160×1080. This gives you a high-quality picture view with beautiful natural color blends. Watching movies on this device is no problem as the pixel display blends the color properly.
I’ve to mention, though, that the audio output is a little boring. The smartphone features a mono speaker. If you listen to music a lot on loudspeakers, you may find the output a little disappointing.

YES, I WANT ACCESS TO THE EXCLUSIVE TRAINING FOR FREECamera
The Nokia 7 Plus selfie camera is excellent. It sports a 16MP selfie camera and a dual 12MP rear camera. While the device was being tested, there was no problem with the selfie camera and the colors came out fine.
Although the dual rear cameras are not very impressive, they’re compensated for by the intuitive camera software. The camera software allows you to blur the background so you can focus more on the real object. This makes every image look premium and well blended.
Overall, the selfie camera is awesome and perfect for Instagram, Snapchat, Skype and other image sharing media. I love the blurring ability of the rear too. There’s always a time when such features will come handy especially when you want to stand out in a crowd.
Runs On Pure Android
I’m a huge fan of pure Android smartphones. Phones running on pure Android software have almost no bloatware (those apps installed by phone makers with annoying notifications). This gives you a clean interface to work on and better storage space.
The Nokia 7 Plus runs on pure Android Oreo and comes with the various features of Oreo, like Picture-in-Picture (allows you to watch videos in a mini window while browsing or using other apps), sleek notifications management, and so on.

Performance
Nokia 7 Plus gets a good like in terms of performance. That’s pretty easy. The phone features a massive 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. The combination of the massive RAM and great processor makes the Nokia 7 Plus a super fast device that’s capable of handling any tasks.
Apps launch quickly and flawlessly without any hiccups. 3D games also run without any problem.
Battery
The device sports a 3800mAh battery. From various testing, the battery can last a full and half day after a single charge.
