Infinix Note 2 (4000mAh) Specs, Review, and Price

The device which is also known as ‘Big 6’  was announced in November 2015 and runs on Android version 5.1 Lollipop that is enhanced with XUI.

 

Display

To allow for better viewing of videos, the 5.9-inch capacitive display comes with a 720 x 1280 pixel screen resolution. This is an improvement to the Infinix Hot Note with 5.5-inch capacitive display.

With the phone’s HD resolution output and its 75% screen to body ratio, playing games on this device will be more fun.

 

Battery

The phone has a remarkable battery of 4000mAh that allows for a talk time of 18 hours while on 3G. The smartphone is designed with dual IC charging circuits that enable rapid charging of the battery.

These IC circuits and ATL duty batteries provide a faster and reliable charging experience. And within 90 minutes of charging the phone, the battery attains 100% charge. The phone can be used to charge another phone.

Like other recently released smartphones, the battery is non-removable. If you charge the phone for just 15 minutes, you’d be able to use it for 8 hours. Isn’t this awesome?

The device is capable of switching to ultra power mode. In this mode, the phone minimizes the power usage by keeping only 6 basic apps running. When the battery level is low, the phone will ask for your permission to switch to ultra power mode.

 

 

Camera

Infinix Note 2 has a rear camera of 13MP which is an upgrade to Infinix Hot Note with 8MP.

The 13MP camera is enhanced with a Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) technology that enables the camera to autofocus itself in 0.25 seconds.

The front camera which is 2MP has FHD BSI sensor and added light intake of 70% to allow for flawless selfies which match the screen size.

 

Body

Infinix Note 2 is an attractive dual SIM smartphone with an ultra-stylish design. It comes in different colors ranging from champagne gold to grey. The plastic cover is stylishly designed and smooth to hold.

The touchscreen smartphone has a dimension of 159.5 x 82.5 x 9.3 mm, somewhat bigger than Infinix Hot Note. The 3.5 mm audio jack enables excellent audio via your earpiece.

It weighs 194g making it heavier than its predecessor that weighs 172g.

 

Software & Storage

For you to have a seamless experience while watching videos, playing games or multitasking, the Infinix Note 2 has been enhanced with Cortex A53 processor of 1.3GHz processing frequency.

It is available in two models of 1GB and 2GB RAM. For saving pictures, videos, and other applications, there is an availability of 16GB internal storage which is expandable to up to 32GB.

 

Connectivity

You need not worry about fast internet connection with this device as it comes with integrated WiFi adapter and 4G LTE connectivity for excellent browsing speed.

It also comes with a USB port and Bluetooth for sharing pictures, videos, and other documents.
