The Waypoints mode lets you record waypoints to create a mission. So the aircraft autonomously travels between the recorded waypoints when you run a mission.
Course Lock and Home Lock mode allow you to use the current heading of your aircraft to lock navigation. This will allow your aircraft to always move in the same direction no matter its orientation.
